Getner Barn was opened in 1972 by the late Ed Getner

with just a few horses.  Since that time the “Barn” has been home to a good many horses and their following. 

Currently there are nine horses who call Getner Farm,   

home.  The oldest of the nine is Lucky, who has resided here for the last fifteen years.  Pepe, on the other hand, is the youngest and has only lived here for two.             

The lesson program at Getner Barn teaches both Horsemanship and riding. It is in the understanding of both of these aspects that we can truely begin to enjoy and appreciate these magnificant animals.                                                                                                                                                                                                                        

Getner Barn is so much more than just a riding stable, it is an entity in itself.  “The Barn” has been and will continue to be, the force that brings and binds so many families together creating friends and memories that will last a life time.
